Nuts? Raw or roasted?
I plan to bake Russian Tea Cakes, but there is one thing, I go nuts over. On his list of ingredients, it says, -3 / 4 cup finely chopped pecans (2 1 / 2 ounces) Is it to refer to raw nuts? or burned? Simmered, poached, boiled?? D:? Will bake cookies w / raw nuts actually boil nuts?
I make these cookies every Christmas and the recipe is calling for raw nuts. You can also use walnuts. They are delicious.
